This past week I went to Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in the Broadlands. It is very big with many different rooms to eat in. When I first sat down the waitress brought bread, apple butter and water right away. I had the nicest waitress, her name was Clare. When I told her that I had my own food blog she offered me a scoop of ice cream.
There is a kid’s menu and a main menu. I ordered from the main menu. I ordered a grilled pork loin with white grits and brussels sprouts. I loved the grilled pork loin and the grits. The pork loin had a slight apple taste to it. I kind of liked the brussels sprouts. I had chocolate silk pie for dessert. The pie had an Oreo cookie crust and whipped cream on top. It was so good I was fighting with my Dad over it.
Behind the restaurant is a farm. You can bike to it and see the vegetables they use in their menu.
I hope you enjoy eating there.
This little food dude gives Clyde’s a 4 out 5!
Once again Conor your blog is very helpful! My son just won a Clyde’s gift certificate at his school yesterday so we are planning to visit Clyde’s very soon.
Hi Little Food Dude –Thanks so much for your awesome review of Willow Creek Farm. I’ll be sure and pass along your review to Chef Keith and his staff — they’ll really appreciate the pat on the back. Thanks very much for your patronage, and we’ll look forward to seeing you again soon! P.S. That chocolate silk pie is my favorite, too!!
