Sorry I haven’t been writing a lot lately. I have been busy with school work.
This past weekend I went to my Grammy’s house in Maryland. On Sunday we went to a really nice restaurant called Seibel’s for brunch. When we sat down a very friendly waitress came to our table to take our order. My Grammy ordered a breakfast sandwich. It was an english muffin with canadian bacon and a fried egg. I ordered the hearty breakfast with french toast, sausage, bacon, hash browns and 2 scrambled eggs. I ate everything but I couldn’t finish the scramble eggs.
I really liked the flavor of the french toast it was very sweet. The sausage was a little spicy but it was still good. The hash browns were real potatoes and onions. The onions added a really nice flavor. I could tell that the hash browns were homemade. The scrambled eggs were a little runny. They weren’t my favorite part of the breakfast. But I still really liked the meal.
I had a very nice brunch with my Grammy. Seibel’s has fun games you can play for free. My Grammy and I played checkers after we ate our brunch. They also have fun books that you can read while you wait.
This little food dude gives Seibel’s a 4 out of 5.
Seibel’s Restaurant is located in Burtonsville, Md and it has been there since 1939. It used to be a dairy bar.
PS: Seibel’s makes great homemade milk shakes!

It sounds like you had fun! I love REAL hash browns! but they tend to make me fluffy. . .Maybe you can write a food column when you come to visit us this summer. We are going to the Kuba Kuba restaurant this coming weekend with friends. I think you might like it. Love you and miss you, Grandma Pat
I am so glad the little food dude is back. I cannot wait to read about your summer restaurant choices.
BTW-I love Seibels chocolate shakes-very yummy!
